Why do young gay men try so hard to be so clueless? Do they realize the struggles gay men of the past had to go through, so they could prance and dip so openly. It wasn't so long ago, when you couldn't hold your boyfriends hand while walking down the street. Before gay men of 2012 could stand in the Ritz, or at Posh drinking over priced drinks and ignoring older gay men, men of the 70s had to face such adversity just to be what they were. how many gay men go to Stonewall bar in nyc, and don't even know it's history. they starve them selves and buy a hot outfit to go to the Pride parade, but never think of a time when you COULDN'T parade down the street. Nowadays, young gays don't know what it is to have a friend die of AIDS. They think a pill a day will keep the grim reaper away. Oh dahlings if the men of 1982 could see the boys of 2012, would they even have bothered?
